Requirements for joining the 506th
- You must be at least 15 years old at the time of the event.
- You must bring & wear camouflage or woodland colored clothing. No bright colors should be visible.
- You must be willing to stay on the field all day & move fast across rough & wooded terrain.
About the 506th
The 101st Airborne is an elite division that moves fast and strikes hard. Our area of operations (AO) includes all 710 acres of the field, which includes wooded, rugged terrain. When on the field, we are always on the move to wherever we are needed. Our primary cover is our ammunition, if you want to hide behind trees, this is the wrong division for you.
Recommended gear and supplies
- Hydration: It's crucial that you have a hydration system such as a CamelBak.
- Paintballs: You should be able to carry at least 1,000 rounds on your person.
- Footwear: Good hiking boots are necessary due to the rugged terrain.
